You Me and Facebook…

Morning! So what’s the first thing you gonna do when you wake up? Many of you will say Facebook, right? A year back I was like that too but now Facebook has lost its charm for me. All people do on Facebook is post useless statuses, share random pictures from different pages, upload their photos or play time wasting games. Facebook was started with an idea that every person will be able to remain in contact with his/her family and friends no matter how many nautical miles away they are living from each other but today Facebook is just a place for building fame and being popular especially among girls in case of boys or vice versa. People keep posting statuses which according to them sounds cool but they have no clue what it means! Most funny thing I find is that boys these days will upload photos of their pets(dogs, mouse, rabbits) or with a small baby of their relative just to get attention of girls. Seriously guys please stop trying so hard. There was a time when my life use to revolve around Facebook. I needed to check my Facebook account every 5 minutes just in case a new notification or message arrived. When I look back I feel how much time of my life I have wasted that I could of have used to build real relationships instead of one that are made on Facebook. Today I stand at the point of life where I don’t have a wide friend circle but small one whom I can really say are true friends others are just Facebook buddies. Just a piece of advice I want to give before I finish, I know its gonna be tough like a part of you going away but just for one week stop using Facebook and start meeting people in real, talk to them face to face. I guarantee you will notice a positive change in your life.
